About the Practice

Menopause & wellbeing specialist providing private 1:1 support in Haarlem and online.

When your body changes, you don’t need to push harder. You need understanding, strategy, and the right support to move forward with confidence.

Professional Background

My name is Irina Mishustina. I provide private health and wellbeing support for women 40+ navigating midlife, perimenopause and menopause.

My work is grounded in exercise physiology, professional fitness education and menopause-focused health studies. I combine movement science, lifestyle strategy and behaviour change to help women build strength, stability, energy and sustainable routines.

Over the years, I have designed and led programmes focused on mobility, flexibility, strength and endurance. Today, I integrate this background into personalised support for women who want to understand their changing bodies and take practical steps toward long-term wellbeing.

My background includes academic study in exercise physiology through Stanford University, professional qualification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine, specialised menopause studies, and culinary and lifestyle health training developed by Harvard Medical School, alongside additional professional development in menopause and workplace support.

My work is practical, structured and evidence-informed, with a simple aim: to help you feel stronger, clearer and more confident in your body and daily life.

Approach & Principles

Health and wellbeing after 40 are shaped by many connected factors: sleep, energy, recovery, stress load, movement, nutrition habits, responsibilities and hormonal transition.

No two women experience this stage in the same way. That is why my work begins with understanding your situation as a whole, rather than applying generic advice or a standard programme.

Together, we look at your physiology, lifestyle, capacity, responsibilities and goals. From there, we build practical systems that support stability, strength and better self-management in everyday life.

This is structured, evidence-informed support delivered privately. The focus is on realistic change: sleep, recovery, movement, metabolic health, routines and behaviour patterns that fit your actual life.

The intention is not dependence on guidance, but autonomy. You learn how your body responds, how to make informed decisions and how to manage your health with more confidence over time.

In our work together, I act as:

  • a menopause and wellbeing specialist who understands the physiology of midlife transition

  • a health coach who provides structure, reflection and practical direction

  • a movement and lifestyle practitioner who supports strength, mobility and daily function

  • a behaviour change practitioner who helps translate insight into sustainable routines

  • a consultant who designs strategies around your real life, not ideal scenarios

The goal is not dependence on me, but your autonomy: so that you understand your body, make confident decisions and manage your health independently over time.

“Before working with Irina, I didn’t understand that the changes I was experiencing were related to perimenopause, and I felt as if I was losing control over my body, my energy, and my sense of direction in life. Through her structured, evidence-based guidance, I learned what was happening physiologically and how to adjust my daily habits, movement, sleep, and stress management accordingly. With clear explanations and practical support, everything became predictable and manageable instead of overwhelming. I gradually regained stability, confidence, and a stronger connection with my body. Now I move through this stage of life calmly, with clarity and a renewed sense of purpose.”
